Windows 11 release date in India and features

June 07, 2021 0

 Windows 11 features

Recently at Microsoft's 2021 conference, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella said that he is really excited about the next generation of Windows. As you all know, in 2015 Microsoft had said that Windows 10 would be its last version of Windows. However, after this year's convention, he denied his announcement. We covered a few days ago that Windows is getting a complete makeover and other features to come. It has been a long time since Windows 10 was released and we are waiting for the next version of Windows. In this article, we will discuss all the features of Windows 11 and also mention our expectations for the Windows 11 release date. So without further ado, let's move on to the article.

Why Windows 11?

The history of Windows versions continues from Windows 7 in 2009, then Windows 8 in 2012 and 8.1 in 2013, and the current Windows 10 in 2015. So here a question arises on everyone's mind that how or why Windows 11 As they used to say before, Windows 10 will be the final version of Windows.

So to answer your question, all we can say is make changes. It is very clear that many people do not like the appearance of Windows 10. Also, staying the same way for years made Windows quite boring, as Windows was considered very user-friendly and easy to use. Windows 10 brought some complications to the operating system. Also, new Windows updates keep popping up with new bugs and various errors that users who update their systems have to face.

However, the name of the next generation of Windows is not yet known. Therefore, there is a possibility that Windows will get the next generation feature in the same version with the update. However, we are excited to see what Microsoft calls it. So with this version of Windows, Windows finally gets a fresh, new look.

Windows 11 Features

Windows 11 release date

Windows 11 will be a major upgrade over Windows 10 as it is being speculated that the newer version of Windows will be coming with 3 big improvements. We will discuss all the features in this article.

Windows 11 New UI

Windows 11 release date and feature

  • Improved UI

Windows 11 release date in India

Windows 11 is very popular because Microsoft refused to go for the second generation of Windows and the ones we are not happy with. Also, the new update will be called Sun Valley Update, however, there is no official confirmation regarding the release date. Nevertheless, at the conference, Satya Nadella also said that he has been using the update for several months and mentioned that the most important Windows update is coming very soon. And on the other hand, some leaks have also suggested that it will release on 29th July 2021.

And that’s it for Windows 11 release date in India. Let us know in the comments section below what do you think about it? You can also Subscribe to Us On YouTube for tech-related content. Google Pixel 6: Release Date, Specs, Price, Leaks, Whitechapel Chipset

May 26, 2021 0

Google Pixel 6

The leaked season of Google Pixel 6 has finally arrived. While we expected Google to announce or tease its in-house Whitechapel chipset as the keynote speaker for Google I / O 2021, it did not. From in-house Google chipsets to radical design leaks, the Pixel 6 Series is shaping up to be the company’s biggest flagship release since the days of the Nexus. In this article, we have listed everything we know about the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro before the official announcement.

Google Pixel 6: Everything We Know So Far

Like every year, the leaks and rumors so far indicate that Google will launch two variants of the Pixel 6: Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro. Interestingly, Google may be looking to replace its XL moniker with a Pro brand starting with the Pixel 6 series. That said. This, let’s look at the details of Google’s flagship Pixel smartphones for 2021.

Google Pixel 6 Release Date

Google has not yet officially announced the release date for the Pixel 6 series. However, given the past history of the Pixel launch, we can expect the company to introduce the Pixel 6 series in early October this year.

Unlike some brands, which announce products months before commercial availability (looking at you, Sony), Google generally brings the announced smartphone to market within two weeks. If all goes according to plan, the Pixel 6 series should be available to pre-order immediately after the launch event. However, there are also rumors that if the chip shortage continues into the second half of 2021, the availability of the device may increase in November.

Google Pixel 6 Price in India

With that, we can expect the Google Pixel 6 to start at $699 (Rs 50,843) and the Pixel 6 Pro model will be priced around $999 (Rs 72,665), beating out Android flagships from Samsung, OnePlus and Xiaomi. If a new price is leaked from a trusted source, we will update this post, so stay tuned with us for more information.

Google Pixel 6 Specifications

Pixel 6 Design

As you may have seen in a recent leak, the Google Pixel 6 lineup will bring a massive change when it comes to the overall hardware design aesthetics. Moving away from the standard design that Google has been using for years, the company will opt for a modern design that includes a curved screen and a thick camera bar. The camera bar, which runs along the entire horizontal length of the rear panel, is reminiscent of the Nexus 6P camera glass housing.

Turning our attention to the front, the Pixel 6 series will feature a full-screen bezel-less display with a focused punch-hole selfie camera. Leaked renders also point to the presence of an under-display fingerprint sensor on the Pixel 6. This will be the first time that the Pixel smartphone will have an under-display fingerprint sensor, which will replace the long-running rear-mounted physical sensor. Android 12 now basically supports under-display fingerprint scanners, as demonstrated by XDA’s Mishal Rahman.

Apart from the color combinations we have seen in the leaked renders, the Pixel 6 may also come in a green variant. You can take a look at the alleged renders of the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro above, courtesy of reputable tipster Onleaks.

Pixel 6 Display

Google Pixel 6 is rumored to have a flat display, while according to alleged renders for upcoming variants, the Pro variant is likely to have a curved display. While you can expect a 6.4-inch display on the Pixel 6, the Pixel 6 Pro is likely to have a larger 6.67-inch display. In addition, as tipster Max Weinbach stated in the podcast, the Pixel 6 can have a 120Hz full-HD display and the Pixel 6 Pro can have a 120Hz quad-HD display. Both these models will be AMOLED panels, and we’ve already talked about the under-display camera above.

TikTok Parent ByteDance Launches Resso in India, a ‘Social’ Music Streaming Service

March 04, 2020 0
Till a few years ago, listening to music on a smartphone usually involved downloading tracks (legally and illegally). Since then, listening habits have transformed, and many users now prefer music streaming services for access to music. Services such as JioSaavn, Gaana, Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube Music are already present in India, covering a wide catalogue of tracks and genres. Resso, a new music streaming service from Chinese Internet technology company ByteDance, now hopes to take a slice of the pie in India.

Although it works like a typical music streaming service in a lot of ways, Resso has a few features that help it stand out in a segment that is already filled with competitors. The service adds a social element to music streaming, offering users a chance to interact with the track and other listeners in unique ways. Resso hopes that these social features can help turn the music listening experience from a passive one to an active one.

Users can share and experience ‘vibes' - which are essentially images or short video clips that are visible in the background of the track interface. It's also possible to like and comment on tracks, and these comments will be visible to others listening to the same track. Finally, users can also select and share ‘lyric quotes', which can then be posted to other social platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and WhatsApp. The lyrics are displayed on screen for many tracks available on the platform, and users can read (or sing) along while they listen.

Hari Nair of Resso launched the app in India at an event in Mumbai

"Gen Z and millennials are at the core of our offering and both music and social networking are central to their daily lives. Our goal is to encourage them as well as everyday music listeners to express themselves in an interactive and engaging way. The relationship between music and the listener is currently passive, with Vibes, Comments and other features, Resso aims to transform this through a new and compelling music streaming experience,” said Hari Nair, Head of Music Content and Partnership at Resso India.

Another core part of the experience is the ease of getting started. Resso's interface is visually appealing from the get-go, and is designed around giving you quick access to music. Based on artist and genre preferences at the time of setting up a Resso account, the service recommends a ‘Daily Mix' which is the opening screen on launching the app. At this point, the user simply has to hit play to get started, and can rely on this system-generated playlist entirely.

Skipping to the next or previous track relies on swiping up or down, while swiping left or right browses through vibes for the track. We tried Resso on an Android smartphone, and found that it interestingly took over the lock screen as well, displaying lyrics and static vibes on screen.

It's also possible to browse through specific genres or playlists, add favourite songs, and search for specific tracks or artists. In short, it works a lot like Spotify and JioSaavn, but with a focus on ease of use, sharing, and commenting. It hopes to offer better personalisation, discovery, and engagement with music, rather than just hitting the ‘play' button and letting the music play in the background.

The service has heavy categorisation of its catalogue, with tracks sorted into various genres and sub-genres for easy discovery. In terms of catalogue and track availability, Resso has signed deals with major Indian and global labels such as Sony Music Entertainment, Warner Music Group, T-Series, Saregama, Zee Music, and more. Deals have also been made with various independent artists to make their tracks available on the platform.

Resso works for free, but the free tier comes with limitations. Users can subscribe to the paid service (Rs. 99 per month on Android, Rs. 119 per month on iOS) which offers features such as the availability of all tracks on the platform, the ability to download music and listen offline (within the Resso app), listening without ads, unlimited track skips, and high-quality audio streaming. For now, payments are supported through Google Wallet and Paytm Wallet for automatic billing.
