Indian Government Launches Aarogya Setu COVID-19 Tracker App on Android, iOS

Aarogya Setu COVID-19 Tracker App launched in India for Android and iOS users. The application was developed by the National Computer Center, which is subordinate to the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology. According to the app’s description, its objective is to “increase” efforts to “proactively” inform citizens of “relevant best practices and opinions regarding the containment of COVID-19”. Both unions and state governments have launched a series of coronavirus-related apps in recent weeks to stop the spread of the pandemic in the country.
